To All Mesians,
On April 26, 2023, as of 3:41 AM, I am announcing that I will officially withdraw my candidacy from the 2024 Mesa Gubernatorial Ballot. I need to take some time to reflect on my failures and focus on other interests for the time being. It is my duty to ensure that Mesa's Government continues to operate, so all of my current staff will remain with the incoming Adamson Administration. My top aid James Dunphy has expressed that he will not continue with the incoming administration and will seek a job elsewhere. I will announce future plans at a later date and whenever these plans are announced, they will become available at kirkgpaul.com.
Thank you,
Kirk Paul
Governor Of Mesa
Governor Kirk Paul: " It Has Been The Honor Of My Life To Serve As Your Governor. I Have No Doubt That Lt. Governor Joshua Adamson Will Continue Serving Our Great State."
Governor Kirk Paul is the 19th and Current Governor Of Mesa. Gov. Paul was elected on November 18, 2021 and was sworn as the 19th Governor on November 20, 2021. Paul has served as Mesa's 85th Congressional District's Representative in Congress. Gov. Kirk has also served on Mesa's Board Of Racial Injustice and Solution United. He has been a champion of Special Needs day camps and the Special Olympics.Â
Lt Governor Joshua Adamson assumed office on April 16, 2022, following 5 days of there being a vacancy in the office of the Lt. Governor. Lt. Governor Joshua Adamson has served as his Town's Health and Safety Board Director. He has also served as the ambassador for Public and School Safety for the State of Mesa.
April 8, 2023 - Governor Kirk Paul has expressed that the state will not support, nor will his administration support the teaching of trans-ideology to students in schools across the state. Signing Executive Order 0190537 and 0190538, Paul criminalized these teachings and schools will lose funding if it is found that they knowingly and willingly allowed such teachings to be done in schools.
"This pandemic has gone far enough, and we are sick and tired of hearing trans-lives matter, and we MUST sympathize with trans individuals," said Governor Paul. "We don't have to, and we should not. Its a mental illness and there is no other way to put it."
The legislation is temporary, but Paul is attempting to codify it into law. If passed, Mesa State, would no longer support or be a safe-haven state for transgender people."
His words have sparked outrage by the trans-community, but he remains firm in his case to ensure that the "Trans-Era," is supressed fairly quickly. Many of these groups have also called on him to resign. Paul said quickly, "I will not."
