To The Great Residents Of The State Of Mesa,
Today I made a statement regarding my potential resignation as this state's government, but wanted to go into further detail regarding my decision. Under no circumstance will I just plainly resign. As with any office, or state official, a recall is the one way for voters to remove me from office, and obstruct my rightful leadership. However, as I announced today, the only way a resignation would even be considered is if the State Legislature agrees to follow my conditions. But as I've just heard, the State Legislature isn't interested in listening to me. Until the conditions are met, I will remain in office, something that I have made VERY clear.
The reason for my resignation, is to allow Mesa to flourish and ensure that our democracy can maintain itself. If I resign, I will be hopeful that Lt. Governor Joshua Adamson will take on the role as the State's 20th Governor. I will work out my legal issues with the State AG's office, and then I will be back. It is my hope that our state will continue into a positive trend, and that the Trans movement will end quickly and for good. I will never stop, and my views and the views of millions of Mesians are put on the "backburner" to support the delusions of millions of others. It's absurd and I will not stop.
Furthermore, today I stand as firm as I did when I first signed the legislation banning the Gender Affirmation surgeries. I will not back down and being recalled and removed will not stop me. I'm coming for the LGBTQ community and I won't stop. Our nation is under attack and in the grip of the Transgender community. Were headed for war.
KIRK PAUL
GOVERNOR OF MESA
